July 24th, 2010 - Lyrebird Survey Update

Well once again, this year's trivia night was once again a triumph, raising lots of valuable funds to help continue protecting the creek we love, not to mention having a ripping good time as well. Our thanks to all who attended!

The main news is the lyrebird survey mentioned earlier in the year will be taking place tomorrow. Hope you are all pumped after last night's briefing session! Because we'll be starting at 6am at Beagley's bridge, then after the survey, Parks Victoria will be providing us with a lovely breakfast!

See this flyer for more info.

Until next time fellow friends.

April 26th, 2010 - Trivia Night Flyer

Hello FOSC!

Quick update on the trivia night for this year, it's scheduled for the 26th of June this year, from 7:30 til about 11pm. As always at the Mechanics Hall in Sassafras, it will be a night of trivial antics and innocuous gambling in aid of raising money for and interest in protecting our beautiful creek!

It'll be a great laugh in aid of a good cause, and if that doesn't spark your interest, you'll get to prove how smart you are and be rewarded with a selection of great prizes donated by other FOSCers and the community.

See this flyer for more complete details.

February 9th, 2010 - AGM, Trivia Night & Lyrebird Survey

Furthermore, after the roaring success of last year's fundraising trivia night, we've decided to throw another, slated for sometime in June. Watch out for further details on that one.

And finally, we will be doing a mini lyrebird survey for Sassafras and Perrins Creeks on Sunday the 25th July, with a training night two days earlier on Friday 23rd July to get us up to speed.

For more information on any of these points, head over to the contact section and drop us a line from there.
